Master checklist (always)

Before

  • Success criteria written in one sentence.
  • Attendee list and roles confirmed.
  • Demo environment reset to a known good state.
  • Screen share and audio tested from the same machine you will use live.
  • Backup plan if product fails (recording, screenshots, alternate tenant).

During

  • Agenda stated in the first few minutes.
  • One primary workflow; no feature tour unless asked.
  • Buyer vocabulary mirrored in your narration.
  • Time check before the final recap so you do not skip the close.
  • Open questions captured with names, not lost in chat.

After

  • Follow-up email within 24 hours when possible.
  • Internal debrief: what worked, what to fix next time.
  • Next meeting on the calendar with a clear purpose.
